Health

Understanding why people become ill is crucial for preventing diseases and enhancing overall well-being. Medical care, while necessary, addresses only a tiny part of overall health. Health is affected by various non-medical factors, including the circumstances of our birth, growth, work, living environment, aging, and activities in the private sector.
Our priority is to address the determinants of health, with a specific focus on understanding and mitigating the social and commercial factors that impact overall health and well-being. Our dual approach includes implementing policy-level interventions and raising awareness through tar-geted initiatives.

We will educate young people about the various factors that can impact their health and dispel health-related misinformation, mainly as digital influences grow in our societies. For example, we plan to collaborate with youth hubs such as schools to advocate for healthy habits, including regular physical activity, while discouraging unhealthy behaviors like tobacco use, harmful al-cohol consumption, and the intake of unhealthy foods and sugary drinks.

To improve and protect public health outcomes, we are committed to building strong partner-ships across sectors, focusing on those with the most significant impact on public health. Addi-tionally, we will collaborate with policymakers to promote consistency across industries and actively participate in policy development processes that address health’s social and commercial determinants.
